Why these are free and behind no form
Because a calculator behind an email wall is not a tool, it is a lead form wearing a costume, and everybody can tell. The calculators run in your browser, we never see what you type, and you can use them for a competitor's pitch if you like. The prototype builder is the one that cannot work that way — reading your site means fetching it from our server — and its page says exactly what that stores.
The commercial logic is simply that a cinema which has done this arithmetic is a better conversation than one that has not, whichever way the numbers come out.
