Spektrix login and support: the official links for venue staff

An unofficial guide by Filmgrail for arts centres, cinemas and theatres on Spektrix. We are not part of Spektrix and we never handle your credentials. Here is where your login lives, why there is no single login page, and who to call.

Read this first

This is an unofficial guide written by Filmgrail. Filmgrail is not affiliated with, endorsed by or a reseller of Spektrix. Every link below goes to Spektrix's own website. We never ask for, see or handle your Spektrix username, password, PIN or API keys, and you should never type them anywhere except on Spektrix's own sign-in pages.

Booked tickets at a venue and need your account? Your account belongs to the venue, not to Spektrix. Spektrix says it cannot change patrons' passwords or details, so contact the theatre, cinema or arts centre you booked with. This page is for venue staff.

The links were checked on 6 November 2026. If one has moved, start from spektrix.com.

Which login is for what

  • Your Spektrix system runs in a web browser at https://system.spektrix.com/[yourclientname]/client. You sign in with your own username and password. What you can open (Sales, Admin, Settings, Insights and more) depends on the user roles your organisation gives you.
  • Your client name is a single lower-case word with no spaces or punctuation, set by Spektrix when your system was created. You also need it to register the Box Office App, log in to the Scanning Interface and integrate your website. If nobody at your venue knows it, Spektrix Support can confirm it once they have verified you.
  • The Support Centre (support.spektrix.com) has a separate account. Spektrix creates one with your email address the first time you raise a request.
  • The Box Office App is installed on Windows PCs that run printers and card readers. Spektrix says that from 10 November 2026 the app is registered with a token generated by a General Administrator, instead of a username and password.

If you can't log in

  • Forgot your password or locked out? Ask a colleague with the Settings Administrator role. They can unlock your account and set a new password in the Settings Interface. Spektrix Support cannot change or reset staff passwords. See Creating and Managing User Accounts.
  • Check the address. Your organisation's name should appear above the login fields. If it does not, the client name in the URL is wrong.
  • Account set to inactive? A Settings Administrator can make it active again.
  • Other websites work but Spektrix does not? Your IT team may be blocking Spektrix domains, or your venue may only allow approved IP addresses.
  • Logged out on your own? Spektrix signs users out after 40 minutes of inactivity. The timeout cannot be changed.
  • Is it just you? Check status.spektrix.com before calling.

Passwords must be at least 15 characters. You can change your own from the Control Panel in any part of the system.

How to reach Spektrix support

Spektrix asks you to search the Support Centre first, then submit a request (one topic per request). Data imports, report requests, seating plans and training each have their own request type. You can also email support@spektrix.com. These are the phone lines Spektrix publishes on How to request Support:

RegionPhoneHours
UK and Ireland+44 20 7183 3586Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm. Emergency support 7 days, 9am to 9pm.
US and Canada+1 646 569 9097 or toll free +1 800 961 5971Mon to Fri 10am to 7pm EST. Emergency support 7 days, 9am to 11pm EST.
Australia and New Zealand+61 3 6361 4009Mon to Fri 10am to 6pm AEST. Emergency support 7 days, 10am to 9pm AEST.

Have your name, email and organisation ready, plus the ticket ID if you are calling about an existing request. Spektrix follows up calls by email.

The Spektrix API

Spektrix documents its website integration options and API at integrate.spektrix.com. Inside your system, the Web Integration Administrator role gives access to the Website Admin Interface, which holds resources such as style sheets, the API key and iframe controls.

The status page reports API status separately for UK and Ireland, US and Canada, and Australia and New Zealand, which helps when a website integration stops working but the box office does not.

If you are thinking of switching

Spektrix is a strong ticketing and CRM system for performing arts. If your venue shows a lot of film and you are reviewing your options, we keep neutral comparisons: Spektrix alternatives, Filmgrail vs Spektrix, Spektrix vs Tessitura and our Spektrix supplier profile.

You may not need to replace it. Filmgrail runs on top of an existing box office and supplies the venue's website, apps and online checkout. A Spektrix connector is available on demand: it is built during onboarding, which takes about a month. See the Spektrix integration page.

I forgot my Spektrix password. What do I do?

Ask a colleague with the Settings Administrator role to unlock your account or set a new password in the Settings Interface. Spektrix Support cannot change or reset staff passwords.
