Ticketsolve login and support: the official links for venue staff

An unofficial guide by Filmgrail for venues that run Ticketsolve. We are not part of Ticketsolve and we never handle your credentials. Here is how the login works, who can reset a password, and how to reach support.

This is an unofficial guide written by Filmgrail. Filmgrail is not affiliated with, endorsed by or a reseller of Ticketsolve. Every link below goes to Ticketsolve's own website. We never ask for, see or handle your Ticketsolve username, password, PIN or API keys, and you should never type them anywhere except on Ticketsolve's own sign-in pages.

Booked tickets and need help with your order? Contact the venue you booked with. This page is for venue staff who use Ticketsolve to run their box office.

The links were checked on 6 November 2026. If one has moved, start from ticketsolve.com.

How the Ticketsolve login works

  • Username and password are personal to each user. Your first ones come from someone on your account with the Manager or Super role.
  • Role and Location are chosen on the login screen. Your user role decides which parts of the system you can open.
  • Start or join a sales session is a tick box on the same screen. Sales made after you join are recorded against that session for cashing up. See Start or Join a Sales Session. Location and sales session are not needed just to get in, so they will not cause a login failure.
  • 2FA, if your venue uses it, asks for a 6-digit code from an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator after your password.

If you can't log in

  • Ask a Manager or Super user first. Ticketsolve asks venues to solve login issues internally and to contact Ticketsolve Support only as a last resort. Managers can check your user under Users > Manage Users.
  • Not logged in for three weeks? By default, users go inactive after 21 days without logging in. A Manager or Super user can reactivate you with the Active user? toggle. You then need to log in within 24 hours, or the account goes inactive again. Venues can change the limit under Settings > General Settings > User deactivation days, up to 365 days.
  • Forgotten password? Ticketsolve has announced that managers will send a secure reset link by email instead of typing in a new password for you. Box Office Managers can send links to staff below their level; Super users can send them to anyone on the account. The email comes from messages-noreply@ticketsolve.com with the subject "Set a new Ticketsolve password". See Changes to Staff Password Resets.
  • New phone and 2FA? Transfer your authenticator app to the new phone. See Ticketsolve's 2FA guide.

How to reach Ticketsolve support

Ticketsolve lists four routes on How to get in contact with Ticketsolve Support:

Ticketsolve says a support specialist replies on the same business day, and that solved tickets close two days after they are marked solved.

The Ticketsolve Client API

Ticketsolve's Client API lets a venue list its shows, events and products on its own website, show availability, link to the right booking page and build a customer account area (log in, order history, membership details, wallet passes and PDF tickets).

Ticketsolve is clear about its limits: it is not a system-wide API. Seat selection, the cart, checkout and payment stay on Ticketsolve, and your site can display the cart but not change it. Building on it is a web development project for your developer or agency. See Getting started with the Client API and the set-up guide for developers.

If you are thinking of switching

Ticketsolve is built for theatres, arts centres, festivals and multi-venue groups. If you are reviewing your options, we keep neutral comparisons: Ticketsolve alternatives and Filmgrail vs Ticketsolve.

Because the Client API keeps checkout on Ticketsolve, a venue that wants its own checkout on its own site usually has to change more than the website. Filmgrail supplies the website, apps and online checkout, and runs on top of an existing box office. A Ticketsolve connector is available on demand: it is built during onboarding, which takes about a month. See the Ticketsolve integration page.
