Unilumin

Unilumin's cinema product is UCINE, a DCI-certified LED display for commercial theatres offered in 2K and 4K and several screen sizes. It supports active-shutter 3D and, being self-illuminating, needs no projector.

As with any direct-view LED screen, the sound has to come from somewhere other than behind the picture, and the capital cost is far above a projector and screen. It is a premium-auditorium decision rather than a routine replacement.

Filmgrail has no commercial relationship with Unilumin and this listing is not an endorsement. It is here because a cinema evaluating its supply chain should be able to see the whole of it in one place. Details change — check anything decision-critical with the supplier.
