Pixelworks (TrueCut Motion)

TrueCut Motion is a mastering platform: films are motion-graded shot by shot in post-production, so a release can show high-frame-rate clarity while keeping the familiar 24fps look. Studio titles announced in the format include Wicked: For Good.

For exhibitors it is a format to programme and sell rather than equipment to buy. Pixelworks names Kinepolis, Vue, ODEON Cinemas Group, Marcus Theatres and CINITY as adopting or endorsing it.
