FNCF Congress (Congrès de la FNCF)

The FNCF is the national federation of French cinema operators, and its congress is the main annual meeting of the French exhibition sector. The 81st congress took place at the Centre International de Deauville from 21 to 24 September 2026.

The programme combines distributor previews — the 2026 programme listed titles including Les Misérables, Badinter and La petite Classe — with the congress debates on the French market, and the federation publishes an eco-responsible charter and general rules for the event.

France has Europe's largest cinema audience and a regulatory setting — windows, art et essai classification, public support for cinemas — that is unlike anywhere else. For a French operator the congress is where federation policy, distributor slates and suppliers meet. For a foreign operator or supplier it is a way into that market, but the event runs in French and is built around French concerns.

For 2026, registration opened in early July through the FNCF; questions go to the congress address published on fncf.org. Fees were not listed on the public page. As of 26 September 2026 the dates of the 2027 congress had not been announced.
