Cinema United Fall Summit

Cinema United is the US exhibition trade association; it represents the largest circuits in North America plus hundreds of independents and international members, and it also runs CinemaCon. The Fall Summit is its autumn meeting, held alongside its annual meeting of members.

Unlike CinemaCon there is no big product reel or show floor to justify the trip. The Fall Summit is where members deal with the association's own business — policy and advocacy, industry data, and exhibitor-distributor relations — so its value depends on how involved your company is in the association.

The event detail page on the Cinema United site is public, but the Fall Summit page itself is behind the member login. In practice that makes it relevant to circuit executives and independent owners who already belong, particularly through its Independent Theatre Owners Coalition. If you are not a member, the more useful entry point is CinemaCon in the spring.
