META Cinema Forum

The organiser's site now lists the 8th META Cinema Forum for 18–19 March 2027 in Dubai, not November 2026. Delegate registration is online, with prices in US dollars or dirhams plus 5% VAT:

• Primary Delegate, $25. For government and regulators, studios, distributors and cinema operators, consultants, contractors, architects, developers and streaming platforms.
• Group offer. Buy two, get a third pass free.
• Vendor Delegate, $999. For solution providers.
• Industry Partner, $4,000. Includes two passes and event branding, booked through a separate form.

GM Events has a discounted attendee rate at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre. It costs AED 750 a night single or AED 850 double, including breakfast, Wi-Fi, VAT and tourism fee. You book it by emailing the organiser's accommodation team rather than through a hotel link. The 2027 prospectus covers stands and sponsorship.

The META Cinema Forum brings together exhibitors, studios, distributors, filmmakers, technology providers and regulators from the Middle East, Turkey and Africa. It is organised by Great Minds Event Management (GM Events) in Dubai, and the 8th edition moved from November 2026 to March 2027.

The region's exhibition sector has changed shape quickly, with new circuits and new markets opening, which is why a regional forum exists alongside the global conventions. Sessions cover cinema technology, cinema design and mixed-use spaces, and emerging topics such as AI and virtual reality, alongside studio presentations and the META Cinema Awards.

If you operate or plan to open cinemas in the Gulf, the wider Middle East, Turkey or Africa, this is the event built for you: the studios and regional distributors are there, and so are the suppliers pitching to new builds. For operators elsewhere it is mainly a way to track one of the more active growth markets.
