NEC has long been the third volume manufacturer in digital cinema, and its projectors are widely installed in small and mid-size auditoriums where the Barco and Christie flagships are more machine than the room needs.
Worth knowing that the corporate name has changed; a great deal of documentation and a great many installed units still say NEC.
