The conventional answer to accessible screenings is equipment: receivers, headsets, seat-back caption displays, all of which the venue buys, charges, issues, cleans and replaces when they disappear. For a single-screen cinema that capital and operational burden is often the reason accessible screenings do not happen.

Greta & Starks inverts it. The audio description or subtitle track lives in an app on the customer's own phone and synchronises to the film by listening to it, so any screening of a supported title becomes accessible without the venue installing anything.

The catch is honest and worth stating: it only works for titles someone has prepared a track for, and the customer needs the app and headphones. It is not a complete substitute for venue equipment, but it materially widens what a small cinema can offer — and accessibility obligations increasingly fall on the venue rather than the distributor.
