Den Norske Kinokonferansen

Den Norske Kinokonferansen is the annual three-day conference of Film & Kino, the Norwegian association that represents the country's cinemas. It is the one national gathering where Norwegian operators of every size compare notes on the same market.

The 2026 edition is held at and in cooperation with Bergen Kino. Film & Kino publishes the three-day programme in Norwegian with an English version, and sells accreditation for the conference through its events page, where hotel booking information is also listed.

For Norwegian cinemas, the conference is where distributors present their upcoming line-ups and where the association's own work — statistics, training and industry advice — is presented to members. For suppliers and foreign operators it is a compact way to understand a Nordic market in a few days.

Film & Kino has already posted future dates: 26–28 October 2027 at Drammen Kino, followed by late-October dates for 2028, 2029 and 2030. The same calendar lists related activities such as Filmtreff screening days and regional seminars, which are useful if you cannot make the main conference.
