RTS sits in the part of the market that the enterprise vendors serve badly: single sites and small circuits that need a working box office, a till and a screen showing times, without the implementation project a system built for a national chain implies.

That segment has particular requirements. Implementation has to be short, because there is no IT department to run it. The system has to be operable by staff who did not attend a training course. And the price has to scale down genuinely, not be a large-circuit product with a discount applied.

Published pricing (checked 24 September 2026): a base licence of $2,140 plus $440 per additional selling station, billed annually with no contract, and $0 online ticket fees from RTS; hardware priced separately. Its site cites 900+ cinemas and a history back to the early 1990s in Knoxville, Tennessee.
