Phil Clapp was appointed CEO of the (then) Cinema Exhibitors' Association in October 2007 and leads the UK Cinema Association; before that he worked at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport on creative-industries policy. He also sits on the UNIC board as a Vice-President.
